The Marching Chiefs Alumni organization is excited to welcome everyone back for Homecoming 2024!
About This Event
We are excited to have our alumni family and friends back for FSU Homecoming 2024 festivities as we honor and celebrate 50 years of being “World Renowned”.
This year, we will begin the Homecoming weekend on Friday, November 22nd with an Alumni Banquet at the Automobile Museum in the Duesenberg Banquet Hall at 7pm. Here we will have a special presentation from our 1974 Syria Trip 50th Anniversary Committee, our annual Alumni Board Meeting, results from Alumni Board voting, and more. The banquet includes dinner, dessert, and 2 drink tickets. The banquet is intended for alumni, and you may invite one adult guest. We ask that you do not bring your children to the banquet. We cannot promise we can accommodate all dietary restrictions/food allergies but we will do our best to provide options.
On Saturday, November 23rd, we will meet to practice with the current Chiefs at Manley R. Whitcomb Band Complex 265 Chieftan Way Tallahassee, FL 32304. The schedule is TBD and is contingent upon gametime that is posted 1-2 weeks prior to gameday. We will participate in Skull Session and march over with the band to the stadium.
The Marching Chiefs Alumni block includes seating in the stadium block and on-field access for participation in pre-game and halftime. The Marching Chiefs Alumni stadium block will be in Section 118, which is the same as previous years located in the South Endzone.
Note: Participation in Pregame and Halftime is not a requirement to sit in the block, but you must register for the block for entry into the stadium and a seat in the block. If you are unable to march and would like accommodations for non-marching spots on the field for pregame and half time, please email us at fsumca@gmail.com.
How to Register
To move smoothly through the registration process, please be sure to start by adding the name of your attendees. This includes your guest banquet ticket and current alumni banquet and/or block ticket. Once you have added their names, then click continue to pick the amount of each type of ticket, and then it will allow you to assign the correct ticket to the correct person.
From there, you will provide the calendar years you were in chiefs, section you played in, whether you will be marching pregame and/or halftime, and you can also request an instrument if needed.
**If you attended the 1974 trip to Syria with the Marching Chiefs, please check the corresponding box. We want to be sure we acknowledge you!**
GUEST FOOTBALL GAME TICKETS ARE TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

IMPORTANT: Guests are not allowed to enter in with the band during march over and are not allowed to sit in the block. This is for the safety and security of your guest and our band. Guests must use an available gate and scan using their purchased ticket and sit in their designated seat. This is especially important for those planning to attend with small children. They must go through a ticket gate and sit in their assigned seat.
Anyone caught trying to bring in guests without tickets, bring guests in through the march over parade or seat guests in the block may be subject to removal from the game and homecoming events.
REMINDER: The FSUMCA uniform for MUSICIANS is the garnet official FSUMCA Uniform Polo, the uniform will include BLACK pants, shorts, or capris (NO athletic wear, bike shorts, athletic shorts, yoga pants, or leggings will be permitted.) Your pants/capris/shorts should look like slacks or a slack style, similar to a business casual dress code. Reminder, this is a uniform and a performance so we should look professional.
Registration Pricing
$75 - Banquet and Block (Pair and Save)
This includes your entry and dinner at our Alumni Banquet on Friday and your entry and participation in pregame and halftime activities at the stadium on Saturday.
$55 - Banquet Alumni
This includes your entry and dinner at our Alumni Banquet on Friday ONLY. This is for those who do not plan to march or sit in the block in the stadium.
$55 - Banquet Guest
Plus one adult guest ticket for entry and dinner at our Alumni Banquet on Friday.
$40 - Block Only
Entry and participation in pregame and halftime activities at the stadium. This option is for those who are unable to attend the Alumni Banquet Friday but want to participate in the Homecoming activities on Saturday.
Reminders and Contact Information
DON’T FORGET PACKET PICK UP. Please be sure to pick up your packet on Friday November 22nd between 4pm-6pm. You will not have entry to the game or tailgate without your packet.
