Our graduate student alumni are leaders in academia, industry, government and their communities.

The Graduate School provides financial support in the form of fellowships, research and travel grants, and special research, teaching and leadership recognition awards for graduate students at Florida State University. Also, we offer information and services related to admissions; orientation and degree requirements; and workshops to help graduate students succeed in their programs.

The Fellows Society was launched in 2008 as a way to bring together our outstanding graduate students who hold competitive university-wide fellowships for the purpose of interdisciplinary learning. The mission of the Fellows Society includes: recognizing and advancing academic excellence at the graduate level by developing leadership skills, promoting exchange and interactions among fellows from different departments, and promoting service to the university and community.
