Florida State University Black Alumni Association
The Florida State University Black Alumni Association (BAA) is an officially chartered affiliate of the Florida State University Alumni Association. The BAA's goals are to serve black alumni, involve black alumni and inform black alumni.
The BAA is organized to:
1) Provide a framework for black alumni to meet formally and informally for alumni, university, and other related purposes.
2) Provide input into all phases of FSU which concern:
Recruitment, admission, retention, graduation and placement of black students; Recruitment and retention of black faculty and staff: and Development and implementation for the University's programs and activities 3) Encourage support for the scholarship needs of black students through financial contributions and in-kind support.
