The role of the Foundation is to raise funds to support the academic initiatives of the University, establishing scholarships and fellowships; enhancing academic programs; and creating professorships and eminent scholar chairs. As a result, the University has been able to attract promising young scholars, propel its academic status and appeal to the nation’s highly recognized educators.

There are a number of ways to give to Florida State University and funding your gift is easy.

The PhoneCenter
The FSU Foundation PhoneCenter is responsible for contacting alumni, parents and friends to update records, answer questions and inform them about University news and events. Additionally, student callers solicit financial support for FSU’s many colleges, programs and academic units.

Alumni Association
The Florida State University Alumni Association is dedicated to serving the University and communicating effectively with alumni and friends to build and sustain support. The organization offers a diversity of programs for active engagement, provides services of value, and promotes the ongoing advancement of FSU through committed volunteer leadership.

Seminole Boosters
The Seminole Boosters generate contributions for the purpose of enriching the overall educational environment of the Florida State University Athletics Program, providing the financial security that contributes to the program's long-term growth and prosperity. The goal of the Boosters is to help the coaches and administration of the athletics program leave a lasting legacy as one of the great success stories in collegiate sports history while promoting the education, health and physical welfare of the student athlete at Florida State University.
