Student Foundation Reflects on 2011-12, Plans for the Future

TALLAHASSEE—The FSU Student Foundation met on April 17, 2012, to conclude a productive second year of operation. During the 2011-2012 school year, the Student Foundation Board of Trustees worked to increase participation in student giving and further educate FSU students on the importance and impact of private support. 

The reward for the board’s work was highlighted through a number of areas of support: $100,000 to the Garnet & Gold Scholar Society; $15,000 to the Office of Undergraduate Research; $10,000 to the 50^th Anniversary of Integration Celebration; and $1,000 to the Honors and Scholars House.

Also, the Student Foundation elected its board of trustees and officers for the upcoming school year. The following students will serve in 2012-2013:
