Meghan L. Hargrave Springfield, Va.
Meghan L. Hargrave currently works as an executive and professional coach and career consultant with Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH), a multi-national firm specializing in executive coaching, leadership consulting, outplacement and transition. She also manages her own professional coaching practice, dedicated to helping talented professionals straddle gaps in the ever-shifting marketplace.
Hargrave spent the last seven years consulting with organizations and executives in the Washington, D.C. area. During this time, she was heavily involved with collegiate and youth athletics, completing her coaching career at Georgetown University’s Division I Women’s rowing program. During this time, Hargrave studied for her master’s degree in psychology, focused in industrial organizational and sport psychology. Today, she continues to be an active member of the Seminole Club of Greater Washington, D.C., and the Florida State Society.
She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication from FSU in 2006. At FSU, Hargrave was an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a brotherhood committed to demanding higher ideals in business and producing future business leaders for today’s communities. She also served on the board of directors for the Florida State University Crew team and contributed to the rebuilding of the team as a student-athlete and rower.
As a first-generation Seminole, Hargrave continues to support the University’s athletics and academics and enjoys seeing the evolutionary journey the Florida State community and its constituents have traveled. She is excited to partner with the FSU Foundation’s Young Alumni Development Council to educate, increase support of the university and uphold the Seminole tradition for generations to come.
