Alumni Across the Country Participate in Seminole Service Day
On Saturday, March 24, Florida State University alumni and fans in 28 communities from coast to coast volunteered with their local Seminole Club for the inaugural Seminole Service Day, the FSU Alumni Association’s first national day of community service.
“One of the most tangible characteristics passed from every generation of FSU students to the next is a sense of service – of giving back,” Alumni Association president Scott Atwell says. “Over the years we have called it ‘leading for the greater good,’ and it’s one of the most unique qualities of an FSU alumnus. Seminole Service Day is an extension of that characteristic.”
