Sandy Seminoles - Seminole Sand Volleyball
Dear FSU fans-
Florida State has adopted its 20th sport on campus and it’s women sand volleyball. Sand volleyball is a “lifestyle” sport and we invite you to become part of our lives by investing in us. Our team is not only gunning for excellence on the court, but also off the court through our service and our GPA. We are team looking to be role models in the community and our team goal is to attain the “trifecta of excellence,” which is to win the first National Championship in sand volleyball while getting the highest amount of community service hours and highest GPA for a team on campus. Whether we achieve that or not, we will be better people for having tried for such a lofty achievement.
Sand volleyball is an emergent sport this year, but despite that, we will still have a AVCA National Championship and AVCA All-Americans. We are looking to build a national championships level program here at FSU and we need help from our FSU family. Any amount of money will help us, but also just your presence at our events will help show the department that we will have a great following and fans that will come out and support us. We will be creating a family atmosphere events that have that “beach” vibe and we hope that you will join us as we create history! Our sport has great potential to be a revenue generating sport someday, but until that happens, we need your help supporting this amazing group of girls and this hugely popular sport.
