Highlights from Some of Our Recent Events

The Women for Florida State University's Backstage Pass 2013—March 1-2, 2013
The Women for Florida State University had its share of kicks and twists during the fourth annual Backstage Pass to the Very Best of Florida State as members of the championship women’s soccer team and performers of the famed FSU Flying High Circus treated attendees to some exciting hands-on demonstrations. Westcott Legacy Society Luncheon—February 21, 2013
A love of opera and of Florida State University highlighted the seventh annual James D. Westcott Legacy Society luncheon Feb. 21, 2013, at the Alumni Center Grand Ballroom, which drew 112 attendees. Florida State President Eric J. Barron enumerated how a love of Florida State—with its ensuing philanthropic generosity—and the University's march toward national prominence are so connected. Women for FSU Encore Event—November 3, 2012
Women for FSU members and friends learned more about the beautiful Florida State University Panama City campus at our second Encore event. It featured hands-on experiences with the Underwater Crime Scene Investigation team and the STEM Institute. Lunch featured a special presentation about verbal and nonverbal communication techniques and the evening concluded with a cocktail reception overlooking the picturesque bay at the Wyndham Bay Point Resort. View slideshow of this event.

Presidents Club Dinner—March 30, 2012
The Florida State University Foundation recently hosted an elegant cocktail reception and celebration dinner honoring Presidents Club donors. The reorganized Presidents Club was unveiled at the event, and honorees received commemorative lapel pins to mark their membership in the newly restructured societies. Read more.
