What is a Seminole Club? A Seminole Club is an organized group of FSU alumni, friends and fans who gather to support The Florida State University. Seminole Clubs exist throughout the world in over 60 states and countries, representing Florida State in their communities. Clubs are responsible for providing a connection with the University to their members – they accomplish this by having events throughout the year that inspire alumni to participate in community service, continuing education, networking and fun.
What do Seminole Clubs do? Members of Seminole Clubs gather for social functions, such as game-watching parties and membership mixers; they host student receptions for current and newly accepted students to Florida State; they organize community service events; they represent Florida State at college fairs in the area; they raise money toward scholarships for students from the region; and much more.
Do I need to be a Florida State alumnus to join my local Seminole Club? No—you just need to love The Florida State University. We encourage all alumni, parents, friends and fans to join! In fact, many members of Clubs are not alumni. They just love FSU!
Do I need to be a member of The Florida State University Alumni Association to join my local Seminole Club? It is not a requirement to be a member of the Alumni Association, but we strongly encourage you to join because it is the best way to stay connected to the University. Your membership allows the Alumni Association to reach its mission and better support all the Seminole Clubs. Join today!
