Features a top-tier doubleheader for the 19th edition of the Classic. Florida will face the Air Force Falcons while the defending ACC Champion Florida State Seminoles under head coach Leonard Hamilton will take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane led by first-time head coach Danny Manning.

AMERICA’S BACKYARD is centrally located to the official Bowl party the Downtown Countdown and will be Seminole Boosters headquarters for New Years Eve Night. City of Fort Lauderdale Downtown Countdown

Free Event
The Downtown Countdown is the premier New Year’s Eve celebration in South Florida. The free 11-hour street festival is full of fun and excitement for both children and adults. An estimated 100,000 revelers will crowd downtown Fort Lauderdale to wait for the lighted ball to drop at midnight.
From 4 to 8, the celebration will feature family fun with bounce houses/inflatables, face painting and games, contests and line dancing with the DJ, as well as an early ball lighting countdown at 7 p.m.

Bud Light Orange Bowl

The ultimate game day party! Kick-off game day with some of Miami’s hottest local talent, interactive games, sports memorabilia, stage contests, food & beverage, performances from the marching bands and cheerleaders and then a performance from Florida Georgia Line all on site.
Seminole Boosters and the Alumni Association are creating an FSU VIP Experience within the Bud Light Orange Bowl Game Day Fan Zone to create a unique Seminole Experience for its members.

While the Bud Light Orange Bowl Fan Zone is a ticketed event ($20) the FSU VIP area is FREE to all Boosters and Alumni members who show a membership card. Members can purchase Fan Zone tickets at a special member 2-4-1 Loyalty Price.

No. 12 Florida State and No. 15 Northern Illinois will meet in the 79th Discover Orange Bowl.
Platinum recording singer-songwriter Jake Owen, a Florida State University graduate, will headline the halftime show, while Xenia Martinez, participant on NBC’s hit show “The Voice,” will perform the National Anthem.

Parking
Advance parking for the Discover Orange Bowl is now on sale. FSU is offering customers advance parking passes for only $20. This represents a $10 savings over paying for parking when arriving at the stadium. Parking is located in the Orange Lots. Order Orange Bowl Parking online.
