The Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts—The Film School—is one of the top film schools in the nation. It has been recognized by the Directors Guild of America for its distinguished contribution to American culture through the world of film and television. Also, its students have won more Student Oscars and Collegiate Television Academy Awards combined in one year than any other film school. In 2004, the college was honored with five Collegiate Television Academy Awards and two Oscars.
The Film School works diligently to cultivate the involvement and support of community donors, sharing with them our success, our pride and national standing. The Producer’s Guild is one of several ways in which those who are interested in participating in the activities of The Film School can contribute. This support organization consists of film-lovers with the common goal of enhancing and enriching the education of Florida State’s future filmmakers. There are several levels of membership, each with wonderful benefits and privileges.
